The new press center at the "Balgarska Armiya" stadium opened its doors with the presentation of Markus Gisdol.

The new press center at the "Balgarska Armiya" stadium hosted its first official event – the introduction of CSKA's new head coach, Markus Gisdol.

Located in Sector A with separate access for media representatives, the press center meets the latest requirements for holding media events. The hall features a large LED screen, modern digital infrastructure, high-speed internet connection, and technological solutions, setting a new standard for the media environment in Bulgarian football.

Markus Gisdol arrives at CSKA with long-standing experience in the Bundesliga and having managed clubs such as Hoffenheim, Hamburger, and Köln.

"Even during my first contacts with CSKA, I sensed something special. We are talking about a great club here. When I was younger, I remember some of CSKA’s big European matches which are iconic for the club’s history," were Gisdol’s first words after he received his red jersey with his name from sports director Valentin Iliev.

"Even in the first conversations with the people from the club, I understood that these are people who are hungry for success. I’m happy we can work together. I think I have a good group of players. There is no need for targets to be set for me. I know that when I take charge of a club of CSKA’s caliber, success and titles are always the goals," declared the former coach of Cologne, Hamburger, and Hoffenheim.

"I am not someone who makes big promises, but I can promise that at CSKA there will be a lot of hard work. Everyone must put all their energy and discipline in the name of success and becoming better. CSKA has the best supporters in the country. We will need their support. One of the greatest goals is to make them happy and give them joy," Gisdol added.

Markus Gisdol’s debut as CSKA’s head coach will be on October 11th (Sunday) at 20:00, as a guest of the team from Bistritsa.
